Parmigiani Fleurier revealed three new versions of the Tonda BF Sport Chronograph. These luxury sports watches are available in distinct dial colors, “Milan” blue, “London” grey, and “Arctic” grey. The case measures 42 mm in diameter and 12.9 mm in thickness. It fits perfectly on the wrist with its ergonomic design and light weight, especially with the rubber straps. A screwed-in crown with a diameter of 6.5 mm ensures a secure fit, which you can use easily while wearing it. The ARunic anti-reflective sapphire glass offers crystal-clear visibility. The case back, crafted from sapphire glass, reveals the intricate workings of the movement, accompanied by an engraving that includes the serial number, “PARMIGIANI FLEURIER,” and the impressive “36,000 Alt/h” designation. The watch has a water resistance of 100 meters.
The dial of this exquisite timepiece comes in a choice of three amazing color combinations, while the main dial coms in silver color with a clou triangulaire guilloché finish, It is a guilloché pattern similar to the "Clou de Paris", but the shape of the pyramid here is triangular, unlike the first, which is quadrangular. During our review, we noticed that changing the angle of view makes the subdials appear empty, causing the indices to disappear. This effect adds a unique touch when glancing at the time suddenly. A special touch from the factory is the black date disc, which makes it stand out in all dial variations.
Once you take a look at the case back, you will notice the high-end finishing of the movement, the in-house PF070/6710 caliber. It is one of the most sophisticated chronograph movements found in a luxury sports watch. This high-performance chronograph is equipped with a column wheel and a vertical clutch, which you can clearly see here.
This COSC-certified movement. boasts a robust power reserve of 65 hours from two barrels and operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz).
Comprising 315 components, including 42 jewels, this caliber showcases an impressive total diameter of 30.6 mm and a slim thickness of 6.95 mm. The movement's aesthetics are enhanced by satin-finished open-worked bridges with hand-bevelled edges, and a stunning 22-carat rose gold oscillating weight, which is skeletonized, polished, and sandblasted, which is designed to evoke the steering wheel of the legendary Ferrari GTO 25 adding a special touch to this watches.
The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Sport Chronograph is paired with a comfortable rubber strap available in Milano Blue, Arctic Grey, or London Grey, perfectly complementing the dial options. The strap is secured with a stainless steel folding clasp. These three watches will join the permanent line, priced at EUR 31,400, which is equivalent to 125,000 AED.
