A Fusion of Timeless Heritage and Contemporary Design in a New Collection
A few days ago, we witnessed the unveiling of Chronoswiss's latest releases, featuring a completely new design within The Pulse One collection, introducing the brand’s first-ever integrated bracelet. At the time, we noted that this event marked the beginning of a new era for the brand. In reality, it was merely the start of a promising new chapter, as the independent brand has now launched two stunning timepieces under the Small Second collection.
This marks the second model in a new family within the Modern Mechanical collection and reflects Chronoswiss's vision of creating bold mechanical timepieces that are minimalist in design yet rich in craftsmanship and fine details, combining the brand's heritage with Swiss watchmaking artistry and modern manufacturing technology.
The Small Second features a 40mm stainless steel case with an 11.5mm slim profile, making it the thinnest and most elegant model in Chronoswiss’s current lineup. The case is composed of 17 individual parts and boasts polished sides, intricately sculpted lugs with a sandblasted finish.
And the brand's iconic onion-shaped crown, now adorned with a special decoration. Double anti-reflective sapphire crystals protect the watch from both sides, while the case offers water resistance up to 30 meters.

The dial comes in two distinctive versions: blue and gold, each crafted using different techniques to create a truly unique appearance.
The Desert edition features a golden dial inspired by the mesmerizing deserts of Namibia, which captivated Oliver Ebstein, CEO of Chronoswiss. The design reflects the texture and depth of shifting sands, with a 3D effect achieved through laser engraving and further enhanced by 10 layers of nano-printing. Applied Arabic numerals and blue hands complete the sophisticated look.
The Blue Orbit edition celebrates traditional craftsmanship with a modern touch. The dial features hand-guilloché engraving coated with CVD technology in an elegant shade of blue, with finely engraved patterns showcasing Chronoswiss's artisanal expertise. The small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock is finished with azurage for added depth. In this edition, only the small seconds hand appears in blue, while the hour and minute hands, along with the applied numerals, are rendered in sleek silver. The minute track with black numerals and dots remains consistent across both editions.
At the heart of the Small Second beats the Chronoswiss Manufacture Caliber C. 6000. This finely crafted automatic movement, with a diameter of 33mm, operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and delivers an impressive 55-hour power reserve. Equipped with Incabloc shock protection, the movement features a skeletonized tungsten rotor, reflecting Chronoswiss's dedication to precision and high-end finishing.
