A Case and Dial Combined from a Single Piece of Damascus Titanium
Sinn, is a renowned German brand known for its high-performance luxury timepieces. Established in 1961 by Helmut Sinn, a fighter pilot in Frankfurt, the brand has gained a reputation for producing rugged, precision-engineered watches designed to withstand extreme conditions such as diving and aviation. Sinn is also celebrated for its intricate complications, including chronographs. Over the years, the brand has introduced several iconic collections, such as “903 Navigation Chronograph Collection" which is renowned for its high-precision chronograph functionality. Today, we are presenting the latest release from Sinn, the "1800 Titandamaszener" , a timepiece that embodies understated elegance and simplicity. Made entirely from Damascus titanium, this watch offers a refined balance of strength and aesthetic appeal, showcasing Sinn's commitment to innovation and quality.
The watch is a remarkable timepiece that showcases the unique beauty and durability of Titanium Damascus. The fusion of titanium grade 2 and grade 5 through a fire welding technique, known as "folding," enhances both the visual appeal and structural strength of the timepiece. The watch also incorporates TEGIMENT technology, a metal hardening process that significantly increases scratch resistance, making the 1800 Titandamaszener highly durable. Additional features include a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, a screw-down crown, water resistance up to 100m, and a case measuring 43mm in diameter and 10.4mm in thickness. The result is a harmonious, high-performance watch that combines aesthetic sophistication with exceptional wearability.

The dial of the Sinn 1800 Titandamaszener is a stunning example of craftsmanship, milled in one piece along with the center section directly from a case of Titanium Damascus. This unique design ensures that the intricate, organic Damascus pattern flows seamlessly across both the dial and the case, creating a unified aesthetic. The dial features glossy blued hour, minute, and second hands, as well as appliqués that are meticulously applied by hand. The 3D indices, date window at 6 o'clock, and the Sinn logo are clearly accentuated for easy readability, while the hands and appliqués are coated with luminescent blue paint for excellent visibility in low-light conditions. The use of TEGIMENT technology not only enhances the scratch resistance of the watch but also ensures the dial remains pristine even under harsh conditions.
The watch is powered by the sellita caliber SW 300-1, an automatic movement. This sophisticated movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), with 42 hours Power reserve, ensuring precise timekeeping. It is equipped with a seconds stop function, allowing for more accurate synchronization, and offers enhanced protection against magnetic fields, meeting the anti-magnetic standards as per DIN 8309.
It comes with a Black cowhide leather strap in Vintage-Style and Grey Nubuck boar leather strap. This watch is a limited edition of 100 pieces, and prices at EUR 9,890 equivalent to AED 39,560.
