Introducing Serica Unveils the New Parade Collection in Two Distinct Versions

Two Enamel Dials in Oval Cases Inspired by Stadium Designs

Classic-style watches are among the most popular choices for watch enthusiasts, offering timeless designs that never go out of fashion. One such brand that has made a name for itself with its classic designs is Serica. Serica’s timepieces are often inspired by military watches.

Since its founding in 2019 by Jérôme Berger and Gabriel Fattori, Serica has consistently delivered high-quality watches that combine modern watchmaking techniques with retro-inspired designs. The brand has released several notable models, such as the “6190 Chronometer M.S.L”, which we have discussed previously. Today, we take a look at Serica’s latest release, the Parade. This new model marks a departure from the brand’s traditional military-style timepieces, introducing a more elegant design language. The Parade represents a fresh direction for Serica, offering an alternative to their previously military-inspired styles.

The watch features a distinctive "stadium" case design, inspired by the elliptical shape of stadiums. The case, crafted from stainless steel 316L, measures 35mm in width, 41mm in length, and 8.6mm in thickness. Its brushed-satin finish offers a refined appearance, complemented by a multi-layer bezel and polished bevels for added elegance. The flat sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating, ensures durability, while the unscrewed push-pull sunken crown adds practicality. Water resistant up to 100 meters, the watch’s stainless steel case back is secured with four screws, further enhancing its robust design.

The two dials share a sophisticated design, both featuring a radial guilloché pattern of 48 S-curves, below enamel coating, which adds texture and depth, as well as a sunburst finish that catches the light for a dynamic visual effect. Both dials also include twelve polished half-sphere appliques to ensure legibility without compromising the purity of the design. However, the dials differ in color and finish. The black satin dial, with silver-colored hour and minute hands, presents a sleek, contemporary look, complemented by polished silver half-sphere appliques that enhance the legibility and elegance of the dial. In contrast, the brass dial features a warm, radiant hue, with silver-colored hands and matching polished silver half-sphere appliques, creating a harmonious, vintage-inspired aesthetic. The brass dial's golden tone evokes a sense of classic refinement, while the black dial's more subdued, modern finish gives it a timeless, formal appeal.

The watch is powered by the Swiss-made Soprod M100 caliber, an automatic mechanical movement renowned for its precision and reliability. operated at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the movement ensures smooth and accurate timekeeping. With a power reserve of 42 hours. The Soprod M100 is also as a chronometer certified from COSC, guaranteeing superior accuracy, while its shockproof construction enhances durability, making it ideal for everyday wear. The movement is beautifully finished with Côtes de Genève, adding an extra touch of craftsmanship to its already technical specifications.

It comes with a grained calfskin leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle, featuring the signature 'Stadium' design. And priced at EUR 1,490 approximately equivalent to AED 6,000.
