Introducing Raketa With The Russian Museum Announces The Malevich Triptych Collection

Three Versions Featuring Geometric Onyx Dials

Raketa traces its roots back to the 18th century when the Petrodvorets Watch and Jewelry Factory was established in 1721 by order of Tsar Peter the Great. Since its inception, Raketa watches have been closely associated with Russian Arctic explorers, astronauts, and military personnel. Combining creativity with historical Russian significance, the brand's modern designs include a wide range of mechanical watches such as the Raketa “Big Zero”, “Sonar”, and many others.

These watches have gained popularity for their craftsmanship, durability, and affordability. Now, the brand has announced its latest collection, Triptych Malevich, released in collaboration with the prestigious Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. This collection features three models, each showcasing a unique geometric dial design.

These watches feature a stainless steel case that measures 40 mm in diameter, and are equipped with a sapphire crystal to protect the dial, while the case back is safeguarded by mineral glass. If you would like to know more about the types of glasses, check out this article. Additionally, the timepiece boasts a ruby stone embedded in the crown and ensures water resistance up to 100 meters.

The dial showcases a stunning combination of black, white, and transparent agate with a subtle tint, creating a unique and sophisticated aesthetic. Its minimalist design features no indexes or markers, allowing full attention to be drawn to the geometric shapes within the dial. The grey dial includes a white square along with three distinct shapes: a black square, a black cross, and a black circle at the top-right corner. The brand logo is displayed at 6 o’clock, accompanied by sleek black hour and minute hands.

The watches are powered by the Calibre 2615, an automatic in-house movement that operates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz), and offers a power reserve of 40 hours. The movement is beautifully decorated with laser engraving, And with the brand's signature Neva Wave pattern, and has a grey rotor with printed details. Each watch is paired with a black leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle. Each version is limited to 500 pieces, and the price for the entire collector’s set is AED 20,000, while an individual model is priced at AED 7,200.
