The Rosa Cosmica and the Rosa Alba, completes the series of five timepieces
Parmigiani Fleurier is a Swiss brand of luxury watchmakers founded in 1996 in Fleurier, Switzerland, by Michel Parmigiani. From its inception, the brand has focused on incorporating complex horological mechanisms and distinctive designs. Michel Parmigiani, ever inspired by the symmetry and vitality of roses, has channeled this fascination into the creation of the “Roses Carrées” motif. This design graces several of his horological creations, most notably the “La Rose Carrée” pocket watch which was unveiled in 2021.
The changing seasons serve as a canvas for this inspiration, with autumn's fiery tapestry heralding Nature’s progression, it perennially intrigued and influenced Michel Parmigiani’s watchmaking journey. This year, the brand has showcased a collection of five timepieces, each representing the summit of intricate Haute Horlogerie and the Manufacturer's exceptional savoir-faire, with a minute repeater movement, these timepieces stand as a beacon of the brand’s artistic commitment, brought to life by detailed engraving and delicate enameling. The artisans behind these creations, handpicked by Michel Parmigiani, embody the pinnacle of craftsmanship. The "Roses Grand Feu" collection, comprising Rosa Celeste in blue, Rosa Mundi in green, and Rosa Mystica in pink. Now, the brand adds two distinctive timepieces to the collection, the Rosa Cosmica with a sand dial, and the Rosa Alba in yellow hue.

Both watches remain faithful to its predecessors, as it boasts a 42 mm diameter and a 13.39 mm thick 18k white gold case, Its durable construction is complemented by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The intricately hand-engraved sapphire case back is adorned with the "La Rose Carrée'' pattern, accented with Grand feu enamel. The design is acoustically optimized, with hollowed-out midsection and back, to enhance the resonance of the gongs, thus allowing their sound to emanate with clear and rich tonality.
The dials boost hand engravings and the "Grand feu" enamel technique, first hand-engraved for a textured base, then coated with four layers of enamel, with the cover receiving six layers, culminating in a rich lustrous finish. The indices are hand-applied, made of 18k gold with a rhodium plating that enhances their look. Telling the time becomes an elegant experience with the skeletonized and rhodium-plated delta-shaped hands, crafted from 18k gold.
The movement at the heart of this timepiece is the manually wound PF 355, complete with a minute repeater. It boasts a 72-hour power reserve, with a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The aesthetic finishing includes the traditional Côtes de Genève on the bridges, which are also open-worked, and each piece is hand-beveled.
