One of Omega’s oldest collections gets five new references in steel and gold
This year, Omega revisited its collections and introduced new releases. This includes six fresh additions to the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Collection, along with a new dial color for the Seamaster Aqua Terra collection. Now, Omega unveils new additions to one of the oldest collections in the brand’s history, the Constellation collection, which has been around since 1952.
Four years ago, the Omega Constellation Gents Collection 41mm was unveiled. Now, the collection welcomes five new references, each adorned with stunning meteorite dials. These five new models belong to the fifth generation, with three models crafted in steel and two in gold, with dials made from meteorite sourced from northern Scandinavia, west of the border between Sweden and Finland, and about one million years BCE, specifically the Muonionalusta meteorite.

Some other noteworthy updates regarding this collection include the debut of the Constellation in 18k Moonshine gold, Omega's exclusive yellow alloy. Moreover, it's the first occasion where the 41mm models are offered with a steel bracelet. The collection offers a variety of options, including a steel case with a black ceramic bezel, complemented by a silver galvanic-treated meteorite dial adorned with black PVD indices, all secured by a steel bracelet. Another choice features a steel case with a green ceramic bezel, accompanied by a green PVD meteorite dial highlighted by white gold indices, also paired with a steel bracelet. Additionally, there is a steel case with a titanium bezel, presenting a blue PVD meteorite dial embellished with white gold indices and a steel bracelet.

For those seeking luxury, there is a varitan available with an 18k Moonshine gold case, bracelet, and bezel, with a Moonshine gold PVD meteorite dial adorned with matching indices. Similarly, an option includes omega’s patented rose gold alloy, 18k Sedna gold case, bracelet, and bezel, with a Sedna gold PVD meteorite dial complemented by Sedna gold indices.
The case for all the models remains identical in dimensions, with a diameter measuring 41mm and a thickness of 13.5mm. Across all variants, the signature polished claws, are employed alongside the rounded half-moon facets.

Powering the watches are the caliber 8900 for the steel models and the caliber 8901 for the gold models both are master chronometer certificated with a Co-Axial escapement, silicon hairspring, and two barrels in series, offering 60 hours of power reserve and operating at 25,200 vph (3.5hz). The key distinction between both calibers is that the 8901 is fitted with a solid gold rotor and balance bridge. The new Omega Constellation 41mm Meteorite models are priced at CHF 8,900 for the blue dial, equivalent to 37,000 AED, and CHF 9,200 for the silver and green dial which is equivalent to 38,200 AED, and CHF 40,200 for the gold edition which is equivalent to 167,000 AED.
