Bvlgari & MB&F Reimagine the Iconic Serpenti

Collaborations in watchmaking often bring together the creativity of a brand and its chosen partner, whether they be artists, athletes, or designers. However, it’s far rarer to see two well-known watchmaking powerhouses join forces. The partnership between Bvlgari and MB&F is a fascinating case, as both brands serve as creative forces in the industry with anything they put their hands on.

Their latest collaboration, the Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti, follows their 2021 partnership, which resulted in the MB&F x Bvlgari LM FlyingT Allegra launched at Dubai Watch Week. This time, the two brands reinterpret Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti through the mechanical artistry of MB&F’s horological machines, merging biomorphic design with high-complication watchmaking in a way that only they can.

Introducing Norqain Unveils Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Limited Edition

A new release with a bronze case and an elegant anthracite dial

Founded in 2018, Norqain may be a young name in Swiss watchmaking, but it has already captured the attention of industry giants. One of its most notable supporters is Jean-Claude Biver, who joined as an advisor to the board and played a key role in helping the brand establish itself in the competitive market for sporty, durable timepieces. A major turning point came in 2020 when Norqain partnered with Kenissi, the renowned manufacturer that also supplies movements to Tudor, Chanel, Breitling, and TAG Heuer.

That same year, the brand introduced the Freedom 60 GMT, featuring the in-house NN20/2 automatic GMT movement in a 40.5mm steel case with a black dial, alongside a limited-edition bronze version with a brown dial. Responding to market demand, Norqain followed up in 2021 with a 40mm bronze GMT featuring a green dial, and in 2022 with a blue-dial. This year, the brand expands the lineup once again with a new bronze-cased Freedom 60 GMT, now sporting an anthracite dial.

The bronze case continues the collection’s beautiful mix of polished and brushed finishes, it measures 40mm in diameter and 14.5mm in thickness maintaining a well-balanced wrist presence. The dial is protected by a box sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, while the screw-down crown, adorned with the Norqain logo, ensures a 100m water resistance rating. The stainless steel caseback is coated in bronze PVD and features a sapphire crystal with “LIMITED EDITION ONE OF 300” engraved around it.

The anthracite dial features a sunray finish and is surrounded by a 24-hour scale, divided into a midnight black and white ring for easy tracking of a second time zone. The applied sandblasted indices and hands are colored in bronze and coated with Old Radium Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The GMT hand, also sandblasted and finished in bronze with a red-tipped arrow, indicates the second time zone. The jumping hour hand and date can be easily set forward or backward in one-hour increments, with the date window positioned at 3 o’clock.

Just like the rest of the collection, the watch is powered by the Norqain NN20/2, a manufacture automatic movement produced by Kenissi. This COSC-certified chronometer operates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and provides a 70-hour power reserve.

The watch is limited to 300 pieces and is available with two strap options: a black Perlon rubber strap (braided nylon) for EUR 4,350 / AED 17,500 or an ebony Alcantara strap for EUR 4,190 / AED 16,800.
