Introducing New Colors and Cases for the Singer Reimagined 1969

For the first time in bronze, the Chronograph and Timer versions maintain their unique design

Singer Reimagined is a Swiss watch company known for its high-end, meticulously crafted timepieces that blend traditional watchmaking techniques with modern design elements. Founded by Rob Dickinson, it is part of the Singer Group, a Californian-based luxury brand globally renowned for its bespoke restorations of the Porsche 911.

The company gained prominence for its unique chronographs, which feature innovative mechanics and a strong emphasis on aesthetics and precision.

After the successful introduction of the 1969 collection and the first two references in 2023, the Chronograph and the Timer editions, Singer is now unveiling the Bronze references, which will expand the brand’s 40mm permanent collection with new dial options, previously available only in black.

Singer Reimagined 1969 Chronograph

The Singer Reimagined 1969 models feature distinctive helmet-style cases and mark the brand's first use of bronze. The cases, also available in stainless steel, measure 40 mm in diameter, making them the smallest in the company's lineup, with a thickness of 13.8 mm. The cases have alternating circular and straight brushed surfaces with polished bevels and offer 100m water resistance.

The dial is available in matte green for the bronze case and sunray-grey for the steel case, featuring orange hands for the chronograph indications. The central dial displays the chronograph information in pure Singer style, with centrally mounted hands for seconds, jumping minutes, and jumping hours, all pointing to the same base-60 scale. Singer chronographs are the only ones that allow event tracking for up to 60 hours.

This special dial color is also a tribute to the very first and highly sought-after Track1 Launch Edition, the 2017 Limited Edition timepiece that started the whole Singer Reimagined saga.

The time-of-day indication is displayed at the bottom of the dial via two disks rotating underneath the surface. The disk graphics and time indication arrows are executed in SuperLuminova. Like the inaugural editions, there is a golden fluted bezel on the periphery of the dial.

Under the sapphire crystal case back is the automatic calibre 6365, which features a column wheel and patented clutch. This movement beats at 3Hz and provides a 72-hour power reserve. The hidden automatic winding system is positioned underneath the dial, leaving an unobstructed view of the intricate caliber 6365, which consists of 491 components and 56 jewels.

The Reimagined 1969 Chronograph features an H-shaped stainless steel bracelet and a khaki textile strap specifically for the bronze edition. Both editions are limited to only 25 pieces for the year 2024. The steel version is priced at CHF 53,500, equivalent to 220,000 AED, while the bronze version is slightly higher at CHF 55,000, translating to 226,000 AED

Singer Reimagined 1969 Timer

1969 Timer represents the ultimate example of complexity distilled to its purest form as the company said. while this edition comes in the same case of the chronograph version except for the absence of the pusher at 11 o'clock.

This timer edition offers an intricate zero-reset system combined with a flyback device is the hidden technical gem behind this three-hands timepiece. A simple push of the button at 2 o’clock allows for elapsed time measurement using the central second hand.

This system offers the opportunity to execute instant and sequential measurements, without interfering with watch timekeeping.

The dial is available in matte green for the bronze case and sunray-grey for the steel case, featuring orange hands for the chronograph indications.

The 1969 Timer is equipped with the Singer 6363, a hand-wound movement with a patented clutch system. A proprietary clutch system allows the central seconds hand to be dissociated from the movement, while kept still, and to be reengaged for motion as soon as the push button is released.
