Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu, Louis Erard’s Tribute to the Sector Dial

Louis Erard presents its latest release, the "Le Régulateur Gravure Bleu," a watch that, as the company describes, embodies the concept of the "Napkin Strategy." This well-known business term refers to a simple, concise idea, often improvised, symbolizing its ability to be quickly sketched on a napkin.

Louis Erard introduces Le Régulateur Gravé as a permanent addition to its Noirmont Métiers d'Art line, reinterpreting the sector dial with intricate traditional engraving. By presenting this non-limited model, Louis Erard further solidifies its distinct identity while making its rare design more accessible to a wider range of enthusiasts.

Introducing MeisterSinger Unveils The New Kaenos collection

A contemporary spin with a sporty flair

MeisterSinger is one of the few brands that still embrace the old methods of single-hand timekeeping. This is not due to a lack of innovation but rather a way of showing modern watch enthusiasts how their great-great-grandparents once kept track of time. MeisterSinger timepieces strip away the distraction of minute and second hands, encouraging a simpler and more intuitive way to read time. Now, as part of its participation in the highly anticipated Watches & Wonders 2025, the German brand is set to unveil its latest innovation: the Kaenos collection.

For nearly 25 years, MeisterSinger has captivated enthusiasts with its timeless approach to watch design. The new Kaenos collection offers a fresh take on this philosophy, retaining the brand’s signature one-hand display while embracing a sportier, more versatile aesthetic. The name "Kaenos" is derived from the Greek word “kainos”, meaning "new" or "fresh," symbolizing a renewal for the brand.

The case is crafted from stainless steel, measuring 40mm in diameter, with both brushed and polished surfaces that create a dynamic play of light. Built for durability, it offers 100 meters of water resistance, ensuring it can handle daily wear with ease. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a sapphire crystal caseback provides a view of the movement at work.

The Kaenos dial takes a bold approach with a layered construction. The numerals and hour markers are cut out from the upper layer to reveal a luminous layer beneath, creating a striking three-dimensional effect. The newly designed luminous hour hand draws inspiration from vintage measuring instruments, a hallmark of MeisterSinger’s design language.

The Kaenos collection comes in two distinct variations: the Kaenos, which features a date window at 6 o’clock, and the Kaenos Open Date, distinguished by an open date disk positioned below 12 o’clock. Both models are available in four dial colors: matte black, as well as sunburst-finished light gray, ice blue, and petrol. The hands are offered in either black or silver-gray.

Each model is powered by a Swiss-made Sellita movement. The Kaenos is equipped with the Sellita SW400, featuring a date window at 6 o’clock, while the Kaenos Open Date runs on the Sellita SW200, which includes a date wheel. Both movements offer a 38-hour power reserve and operate at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).

The watch comes with an integrated stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished links. The Kaenos is priced at €2,650, approximately AED 10,650, while the Kaenos Open Date is priced at €2,950, approximately AED 11,900.
