A flying tourbillon with a hand-hammered gold dial and the iconic Maestro case
The "Maestro" collection was first introduced by Mr. Gerald Genta in 2005 with the launch of the first-ever Maestro case featuring a tourbillon, marking a groundbreaking moment in the brand's history. Now, 25 years after the brand's founding, Gerald Charles celebrates this milestone with a new release featuring a tourbillon, paying homage to the artistry and craftsmanship of the late Gerald Genta, "Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon In White Gold" watch. This new timepiece draws inspiration from the design legacy of the legendary watchmaker, continuing his tradition of innovation and elegance.
The case of the new Maestro timepiece is crafted from 316L stainless steel with a polished finish, offering both durability and refined aesthetics. The bezel is made from Grade 5 titanium, enhanced with a Colormix blue treatment, adding a unique touch of color to the design. The sapphire crystal features a multi-layer anti-reflection treatment on both the internal and external surfaces, ensuring optimal clarity for the dial and the movement. With a diameter of 39 mm x 41 mm and a thickness of just 9.3 mm, the case provides a sleek and balanced profile. The screw-down crown, adorned with Clou de Paris and an embossed logo, adds to the watch's distinctive appeal. Additionally, the case's iconic smile at 6 o'clock perfectly complements its design, creating an ideal structure to house the tourbillon cage.

The dial of the new Maestro timepiece is crafted from hand-hammered white gold, exuding a sense of artistry and sophistication. The Roman numerals at 9, 12, and 3 o'clock are applied in Colormix blue, adding a modern contrast to the classic design. The baton-shaped, flat hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova, emitting a blue glow at night for optimal readability in low light. This enhances the watch's timeless appeal, while the centerpiece of the dial is the 60-second flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock. This remarkable tourbillon features a unique skeletonized cage shaped like the GC logo, a nod to the original flying tourbillon created by Mr. Gérald Charles Genta himself, bringing his signature innovation back to life in this exceptional piece.

The watch is powered by the Swiss Manufacture 9.0 caliber, an automatic flying tourbillon movement featuring a 60-second indication. It houses 196 components and boasts a central oscillating mass in 22K rose gold, decorated with the iconic Gerald Charles "Honeycomb" design, sandblasted with polished outlines. The movement’s finishing includes finely decorated bridges, Cotes de Genève, and perlage finishes, along with diamond-polished anglage and yellow gold engravings. The tourbillon bridges are made of 18K yellow gold, and the movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 (4Hz). Equipped with an Incabloc anti-shock system, a stop-second mechanism, the movement offers a power reserve of 50 hours.
It comes with hand-stitched mat blue alligator strap and Folding clasp, polished and sandblasted. It's a limited edition to 50 pieces, and the price is upon request.
