White Gold Watch Featuring One of the Brand's Finest Movements.
As part of its novelties for Geneva Watch Days 2024, Frederique Constant reveals the new Tourbillon Manufacture Limited Edition featuring a striking Aventurine dial. This timepiece is powered by the brand’s renowned in-house manufacture caliber, which celebrated its 15th anniversary last year—a milestone marked by the launch of their first-ever handmade watch with a meteorite dial and platinum case.
Now, Frederique Constant continues to build on that legacy with this mesmerizing new design, encased in white gold and featuring a deep blue Aventurine dial.
The Classic Tourbillon Manufacture is encased in a three-part polished 18k white gold case, measuring 39mm in diameter and standing 10.99mm tall. Its convex sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating, ensures that the intricate details of the dial are always visible, while the see-through case back, engraved with the individual limited-edition number, offers a clear view of the watch’s movement. The case provides water resistance up to 30 meters.
The dial of the new Classic Tourbillon Manufacture is the centerpiece of the watch, crafted from Aventurine, a glass known for its shimmering effect created by mineral inclusions—typically copper—that lend it a deep, starry-night blue sparkle.
At the 6 o’clock position, the tourbillon is proudly displayed, with the tourbillon bridge engraved in gold with the model’s limited-edition number, underscoring the exclusivity of this timepiece. The hand-polished silver hour and minute hands sweep elegantly over applied silver diamond-cut indices, completing the refined design.
Beneath the transparent sapphire case back lies the in-house automatic FC-980 caliber, with each component meticulously finished. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (VPH) and featuring a power reserve of 38 hours, the movement includes a silicon escapement wheel, 33 jewels, and a brass oscillating weight with a tungsten outer rim.
The watch is paired with a blue alligator leather strap, fastened by a folding buckle. The Frederique Constant Classic Tourbillon Aventurine Manufacture is a highly limited edition of just 36 pieces, available at a price of EUR 39,995, equivalent to AED 162,300.
