The New Highlife Automatic COSC 39mm Now Features a Brown Dial
In 1999, Frederique Constant launched the first editions of the Highlife collection, distinguished by its design as a sports watch with an integrated bracelet. Since then, the brand has updated this design and continued to work on the collection by adding improvements and new movements. These affordable sports watches have become popular for the company, and over the years, Frederique Constant has added many different complications and models. The last ones were in green and blue. Now, it is introducing a new color dial on the Highlife watch, which is the company’s best-selling model.
The new HIGHLIFE Automatic COSC's edition come encased in a stainless steel three-part case, measuring 39mm and 10.34mm in thickness. Retaining the distinctive style of the "High Life" collection, the tonneau-shaped case exhibits scalloped facets at both ends and is predominantly adorned with a sporty satin-brushed finish, featuring polished accents on the bezel, crown, The case is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, and a transparent caseback. It boasts water resistance up to 100 meters.
The lack of horns allows for more flexibility and helps the watch sit comfortably on the wrist. The integrated design requires perfect continuity between the lines of the case and the strap.
The new edition showcase a brown dial. Adorned with the signature engraved globe emblem of the Highlife collection, the applied and applied hour indices extend to the perimeter of the globe. Both the baton hour and minute hands, as well as the hour markers, are treated with Super-LumiNova. The index at 3 o'clock is shortened to accommodate the framed date window with a white background. Completing the functional design is a white minutes track indicated by the central seconds hand. At 12 o'clock, the chronometry COSC certification is proudly displayed on the dial in red.
The Highlife Automatic is powered by Frederique Constant’s automatic caliber FC-303 based on the Sellita SW200 caliber. Beating at 28,800vph and delivering a relatively limited 38-hour power reserve, the movement has been upgraded to COSC chronometer certification standards.
The watch is fitted with a comfortable, integrated stainless steel bracelet with a folding buckle and push buttons. and interchangeable strap system that allows you to exchange the bracelet for a strap in seconds. The watches come with an additional textured rubber strap matching the brown hue of the dial with a stainless steel pin buckle.
The new Frederique Constant Highlife Automatic COSC 39mm model is priced at EUR 1,995 which is equivalent to 8,000 AED. The watches are available at their official retailer in Dubai, Ahmed Seddiqui & Sons.
