The Fifth Addition to the Indie Watchmaker's Annual Skeletonized Series
German watchmaker Felipe Pikullik reveals his latest creation, the FPSK25 Regulator. This timepiece marks the fifth edition in a series of skeletonized watches produced annually by this independent artisan and his team. The project began three years after he founded his own workshop in Berlin in 2017 at the young age of 23. As with all Felipe’s watches, this latest release features high-quality handcrafted finishes in every detail, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship.
The stainless steel case is fully polished with satin-finished flanks. Measuring 41 mm in diameter and 10.5 mm in thickness, it features notched lugs a distinctive element of Felipe's watches—and is topped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It offers water resistance of up to 50 meters.
The openworked dial of the FPSK25 is designed as an extension of the movement itself, offering a structured aesthetic that transforms traditional skeletonization into a balanced and highly detailed composition. The introduction of a three-part regulator-style display enhances clarity and symmetry, creating a visually dynamic yet harmonious layout.
The combination of black rhodium and rose gold adds depth and contrast, emphasizing the carefully polished and frosted surfaces that define the dial’s character. Each element is meticulously finished with sharp bevels and mirror-polished edges that catch the light at every angle, ensuring a captivating play between matte and reflective textures. The central bridge, carrying Felipe Pikullik’s signature and the individual numbering of each piece, serves as both a functional and artistic element, dividing the dial while preserving openness and transparency.
The hands receive a semi-frosted and semi-polished treatment, adding a subtle visual interplay that complements the refined aesthetic of the timepiece.
For the movement, Felipe Pikullik chooses the ETA Unitas. This hand-wound movement, derived from pocket watch calibers, features a large balance wheel running at a slow frequency of 2.5Hz and offers a power reserve of approximately 46 hours. It is the same caliber used in previous FPSK variants.
This movement is meticulously hand-finished by Felipe Pikullik, who polishes and refines each component to achieve a perfect balance of artistic expression. The bridges are fully skeletonized to highlight the depth and complexity of the movement, with beveled edges applied entirely by hand, creating sharp inner angles and mirror-like reflections. The frosted main plate provides a striking contrast against the polished surfaces, enhancing the visual interplay between light and shadow. The balance cock is hand-engraved with a delicate floral pattern, a hallmark of Felipe’s signature craftsmanship.
The watch features a black calfskin strap with a stainless steel pin buckle and is available as a limited edition of 10 pieces, priced at 19,500 EUR, approximately 77,600 AED.
