Bvlgari & MB&F Reimagine the Iconic Serpenti

Collaborations in watchmaking often bring together the creativity of a brand and its chosen partner, whether they be artists, athletes, or designers. However, it’s far rarer to see two well-known watchmaking powerhouses join forces. The partnership between Bvlgari and MB&F is a fascinating case, as both brands serve as creative forces in the industry with anything they put their hands on.

Their latest collaboration, the Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti, follows their 2021 partnership, which resulted in the MB&F x Bvlgari LM FlyingT Allegra launched at Dubai Watch Week. This time, the two brands reinterpret Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti through the mechanical artistry of MB&F’s horological machines, merging biomorphic design with high-complication watchmaking in a way that only they can.

Introducing The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with a Glossy Black Dial

New Editions in Three Sizes 34mm, 38mm, and 41mm

Elegant, durable and versatile, the Seamaster Aqua Terra has held a special place in the Omega Seamaster collection since its launch in 2002. Although it is not considered as a professional diving watch, it offers an attractive mix of features. With its respectable 150-metre water resistance, aesthetics and precise movement, it seamlessly blends OMEGA's tradition of professional watches with the elegance of Swiss design. and now Omega unveiled a new version of the timepiece with a black lacquer dial, and it’s available across a trio of sizes.

The Seamaster Aqua Terra collection now includes three sizes, 41mm, 38mm, and 34mm. They are all made of 316L stainless steel, famous for its corrosion resistance and high luster after polishing. As for the thickness, it is respectively 13.4 mm, 12.3 mm, or 12 mm. The conical crown is engraved with the screw-down Omega symbol to ensure water resistance to 150 meters. The watch is protected by a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.

These new dials forgo the signature Aqua Terra “teak” grooved horizontal pattern, inspired by luxury sailboat decks, in favor of a glossy lacquered finish.
The 41mm and 38mm versions retain their traditional trapezoidal date window, triangular indices, and arrow hands. The smaller 34mm Aqua Terra features a rounded date window, sailboat-shaped indices, and lacks a minute track. Each watch is equipped with an arrow minute hand and a more traditional short hour hand, either rhodium-plated (41mm, 38mm) or white gold (34mm), with indices all filled with blue-glowing Super-LumiNova lume.

There are also differences in the movements: the 41mm model is powered by the Master Chronometer Caliber 8900, while the 38mm and 34mm models house the Master Chronometer Caliber 8800. Each watch has an exhibition caseback, allowing the movement to be easily viewed.

This in-house calibers operate at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz). This state-of-the-art self-winding movement mounts two barrels in series, providing a power reserve of 55 hours while 60 hours for the Caliber 8900. both Featuring Omega's Co-Axial escapement and strong resistance to magnetism up to 15,000 gauss, thanks to the silicon balance spring.

The Master Chronometer certification, overseen by METAS, ensures top-tier quality, precision, and magnetic resistance. Initially, the movement is tested by COSC for precision (-4/+6 seconds per day). Subsequently, the watch and its movement undergo eight rigorous Master Chronometer tests (0/+6 seconds per day).

The black Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m is offered with either a brushed/polished 3-link stainless steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp or an integrated design.
The new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M editions all have the same price at USD 6,600 equivalent to 24,400 AED.
