For the first time As a Permanent Addition to the Collection
This captivating model has been eagerly awaited by Moonwatch enthusiasts since November 2023, when the inaugural edition was first sighted adorning the wrist of Omega brand ambassador, Daniel Craig, at the Planet OMEGA Exhibition in New York. Finally, the design has been officially unveiled. Renowned as one of the chronograph watches, the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch is now introduced in its latest iteration – featuring a lacquered white dial that draws inspiration from space exploration and the renowned heritage of the collection.
The watch's most striking characteristic is its uncommon white dial. When the original Speedmaster was conceived in 1957, designers aimed to create a display that was effortlessly readable with exceptional clarity. Thus, white hands and indexes were set against a black dial. In this new rendition, the inverse color scheme achieves the same effect. OMEGA has not only crafted this new dial in white with black accents and updated applied indexes but has also introduced a prominent Speedmaster name in red and adorned the entire surface with a glossy lacquered finish – marking the first utilization of this technique on the Moonwatch's step dial.
For decades, aside from special and limited editions, the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch in stainless steel has predominantly sported a black dial. However, at an Omega-hosted event last November, Daniel Craig, more accustomed to donning a Seamaster while portraying James Bond, was seen wearing something extraordinary – an unprecedented version of the classic Moonwatch with a light-colored dial.
The stainless steel Speedmaster boasts the iconic asymmetrical case, measuring 42mm in diameter, 13.2mm in thickness, and 47.5mm in length. Its design incorporates sapphire crystals on both sides, ensuring durability and clarity, while maintaining a water resistance of up to 50m. Notably, the crown and large pushers are positioned on the right side of the case for ease of use. Each timepiece features a black anodized aluminum bezel adorned with the renowned "Dot over Ninety" on the tachymeter scale.
According to Omega, the inspiration behind the white dial stems from the iconic white suits worn by astronauts during extravehicular activity (EVA).
The new Speedmaster Professional features a white lacquered dial, maintaining essential elements such as the minute track and snailed finishing in the sub-dials. Omega has opted for diamond-polished black PVD hands to ensure optimal readability and contrast against the white lacquered dial.
The hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, emitting a green glow in low-light conditions. Additionally, the dial showcases black PVD hour applied indices adorned with square Super-LumiNovaة while the Speedmaster logo printed in red and seconds hand get a red tip too.
Inside the watch, the driving movement is the Co-Axial Caliber 3861, Omega's latest iteration of the renowned Caliber 321, which earned the trust of astronauts during lunar missions. Operating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, this movement boasts exceptional antimagnetic properties, resisting up to 15,000 gauss. It provides a robust 50-hour power reserve and achieves remarkable precision with a deviation of 0 to +5 seconds per day. Additionally, it is certified as a Master Chronometer, guaranteeing superior accuracy and reliability.

The watch is showcased on a comfortable, vintage-inspired stainless steel bracelet featuring five arched links per row, adorned with a blend of polished and brushed detailing for a classic aesthetic. Additionally, two alternative options are offered: one on a black micro-perforated leather strap with red and white stitching, and another on an anti-bacterial rubber strap. The rubber strap is uniquely designed with a moon surface pattern in positive relief on the underside, enhancing both comfort and visual appeal.
The watch is a permanent edition, with the stainless steel bracelet priced at 9,000 Euros, equivalent to 35,850 AED. Meanwhile, the strap versions are priced at 8,600 Euros, which translates to 34,250 AED.
