Introducing The New Octo Finissimo Yellow Gold & Tuscan Copper

The unique charms of Bulgari's latest addition to its iconic collection

In 2014, the Octo Finissimo collection made its debut within Bulgari watches, seamlessly blending distinctive designs with exceptional craftsmanship. Available in various models, these timepieces stand out for their remarkably thin and elegant aesthetics. This collection has set unprecedented standards in ultra-thin watchmaking, featuring remarkable pieces such as the Octo Finissimo Ultra, boasting a mere 1.80mm thickness. Now, in the context of LVMH Watch Week 2024 in Miami, a new dimension of Octo Finissimo's iconic character comes to the fore. The Octo Finissimo Yellow Gold and Octo Finissimo Tuscan Copper, unveiled at the event, highlight the collection's deeply rooted Italian heritage, showcasing a dial in a lustrous metallic copper hue.

The radiant golden hue, reminiscent of the sun, elevates the interplay of light across the watch's striking lines and geometric designs inspired by ancient Rome. The case, available in polished yellow gold or crafted from 904L stainless steel, a grade utilized in the aerospace industry, features 58 facets that showcase exceptional finesse with architectural angles. With a diameter of 40 mm and a slim profile of only 6.4 mm, the new Octo Finissimo appeals to both men and women, underscoring its versatility. Additionally, it boasts remarkable water resistance up to 100 meters, complemented by a crown featuring a black ceramic insert.

The dial of the Yellow Gold is fused with Octo Finissimo lacquered in a deep blue with a sunray finish, completing the lavishness of the gold. Golden, contrasting hands and hour markers ensure outstanding legibility, befitting a chic, sporty timepiece. The small second sundial is situated at 7 o'clock.

For the Octo Finissimo Tuscan Copper, Bulgari ventures into new creative realms. A true statement piece, its sunray Tuscan copper dial in a salmon hue stands as a highly coveted rarity among Bulgari connoisseurs. Rhodium-plated hands and indexes create subtle and elegant contrasts on this coppery face.

The transparent caseback reveals the art of Swiss mechanical excellence: the in-house BVL 138 automatic caliber, extraordinarily slim at just 2.23 mm, is beautifully adorned with hand-finished chamfers, circular graining, and Côtes de Genève stripes. The caliber BVL 138 beats at 21,600 Vph and provides an ample power reserve of 60 hours.

It features a satin-finished yellow gold or stainless steel bracelet of exceptional comfort, complemented by a triple-blade folding clasp. The price of the Tucson version is 15,000 euros, equivalent to 60,000 AED. The yellow gold issue is $45,500, equivalent to 168,000 AED.
