Introducing Rado Unveils Five New Watches from the Anatom Collection

Ceramic Rectangular Cases in a Variety of Colors

Rado brand was founded in 1917, with its name derived from the Esperanto word for “wheel,” symbolizing movement and progress. Known as the "Master of Materials," Rado revolutionized the watch industry by introducing high tech ceramics, ultra light ceramics. The brand's innovative approach to materials has earned it numerous prestigious international design awards. Over the years, Rado has introduced several iconic collections, including the Anatom collection, which debuted in late 1983. Now, more than 40 years later, Rado continues its legacy with five new releases from Anatom collection.

The five versions of this model share identical dimensions, with a rectangular shape typical of Rado watches, measuring 32.5mm in diameter, 46.3mm in length, and 11.3mm in thickness. They are all water-resistant up to 50 meters and feature a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Four of the models have high-tech ceramic cases that are scratch-resistant and treated with PVD coating in black, while the fifth version features a plasma ceramic case in grey without the PVD treatment.

The dials of these watches vary in design but share some key features: all feature a date window at the 6 o'clock position, with hour and minute hands coated in rhodium and enhanced with Super-LumiNova for better visibility. At 12 o'clock, an iconic moving anchor sits above the brand name.

The key differences lie in the dial designs, the models with black PVD-treated ceramic cases feature a black dial, while the two Jubilee editions stand out with three diamonds at 3, 6, 9 o'clock one having dark printed indices and the other without any indices.

The other two versions have horizontally striped dials with either gold or silver hands and indices, all coated with Super-LumiNova.

The gray ceramic case version showcases a striking grey dial with irregular horizontal lines, and rose-gold plated hands and indices, also treated with Super-LumiNova, creating a refined contrast with the dial's depth.

All watches are powered by the Rado Calibre R766, an automatic movement with 21 jewels, offering a 72 hour power reserve. Equipped with an anti magnetic Nivachron hairspring and a customized rotor, this movement ensures high accuracy, having been finely regulated in five positions.

The model with the grey ceramic case features a bracelet made of grey ceramic links, interspersed with rose gold-colored links for a refined contrast. The two Jubilee editions come with black PVD treated ceramic bracelets, featuring links separated by stainless steel ones. One of these editions, with the distinctive black-dial indices, is further adorned with 162 diamonds set into the stainless steel links for an extra touch of luxury. The final two versions feature black PVD treated ceramic bracelets, with the gold-accented version designed to complement the dial with gold indices, while the silver-accented version matches the silver indices of the dial, offering a sophisticated pairing.

The black high-tech ceramic model with steel links is priced at CHF4,200 (AED18,500), while the same version with yellow gold-colored links is available for CHF4,300(AED18,900). The grey high-tech ceramic model is also priced at CHF4,300(AED18,900). The Jublié version featuring 165 diamonds is priced at CHF8,650(AED38,000), and the black Jubilé model with three diamonds on the dial is offered for CHF4,450(AED19,600).
