Open Dial Reveals Red Gold Accents
Norqain is a Swiss luxury watch brand founded in 2018. The brand focuses on producing robust mechanical watches, using Swiss movements from well-known manufacturers such as Sellita and Kenissi. Norken offers a variety of watches, including sporty styles, such as the “Coral” and “Gecko” models released at Watches and Wonders 2024. Today, we are showcasing the latest release from the brand, the new “Independence Skeleton 42mm” watch.
The watch features a crafted 316L stainless steel case, measuring 42mm in diameter and 11.80mm in thickness, designed for durability and style. Its brushed, polished, and sandblasted finishings provide a sophisticated aesthetic, while the 100m water resistance ensures it can withstand aquatic adventures. The flat sapphire crystal is anti reflective and scratch resistant, enhances visibility and protects the dial. An open case back showcases the intricate movement within, also shielded by scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Completing the design is a screw down crown adorned with the Norqain logo Surrounded by protectors and a distinctive engraved Norqain plate on the left side.
The watch features an openworked grey dial that showcases its movement components, offering a glimpse into its inner workings. Adorned with diamond-cut, multi-faceted indexes in red gold plating, the dial is complemented by numerals and a white printed minute track, all filled with X1 Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility. The hour and minute hands, also diamond-cut and red gold plated, are designed for precision, while the flat seconds hand is arrow-shaped, with a red tip, and is similarly filled with X1 Super-LumiNova.
The watch is powered by the Norqain Calibre N08S based on sellita SW200-1S, a sophisticated mechanical automatic skeleton movement. Certified as a chronometer by the COSC, it features a personalized Norqain rotor. With a power reserve of 41 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
It comes with an integrated grey rubber strap featuring a stylish “Milanese” pattern, secured by a stainless steel pin buckle, priced at CHF 3,850, equivalent to AED 16,940. Alternatively, you can opt for the integrated 316L stainless steel bracelet, which boasts a folding clasp, available at CHF 4,100 equivalent to AED 18,040.
