Two new additions to the Seastrong collection with a GMT complication
Founded in 1883, Alpina is a Swiss watch brand that initially gained fame for creating good-quality movements for other watchmakers. Starting in 1901, Alpina began producing its own watches and has since launched a diverse range of collections in various shapes and sizes, all at affordable prices.
The Seastrong is one of the brand’s iconic collections, offering reliable and durable diving watches. This year, the brand is expanding this collection with two new releases featuring black and silver dials and a GMT function, the Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic GMT.
Both variants come in a cushion-shaped brushed and polished stainless steel case, measuring 39 mm in diameter and 12.65 mm in thickness. The case includes a ceramic insert for the bi-directional bezel’s 24-hour scale, and a large screw-down crown with a rubber grip. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, while the solid case back ensures water resistance up to 300 meters.
The dial showcases the brand’s famous stamped triangular texture, and hand-polished silver-colored hands filled with Super-LumiNova coating. The seconds hand features a distinctive red triangle, and the GMT hand, also adorned with a red triangle on its tip, is filled with Super-LumiNova. Additionally, the dial includes a date window at the 6 o'clock position.

The watches are powered by the Sellita based AL-560 calibre, an automatic movement that operates at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers 50 hours of power reserve. Both watches are paired with a black textured rubber strap with a deployment clasp secured by a push button, and they both share the price of CHF 2,495, equivalent to AED 10,300.
