New colour, new size and new look: the Longines Master in a new presence
The Longines Master Collection, which was introduced in 2005, serves as a contemporary alternative to the Longines Heritage range, showcasing more traditional designs. The brand's objective was to evolve the Longines Master collection from complicated timepieces to watches that solely display the time. They focused on reducing the collection's diameter from 41 mm in the initial version to 40 mm in the 190th-anniversary models, and finally to 38.5 mm in the latest version discussed in this article. In 2022, Longines celebrated its 190th anniversary by releasing three dress watches, featuring only three hands for the first time, called the Longines Master Collection 190th Anniversary. These watches pay homage to the brand's rich heritage while incorporating modern elements that appeal to watch enthusiasts.
The Longines Master Small Seconds watch has undergone a transformation and is now encased in a smaller 38.5 mm brushed steel case. It exudes a timeless and understated appeal, designed to complement a variety of ensembles.

This dress watch offers a water resistance of 30 meters, making it suitable for everyday use but not intended for aquatic adventures. The front and back of the watch feature sapphire crystals, providing a clear view of the intricate mechanics inside. The watch is elegantly secured to the wrist by a crocodile leather strap, enhancing its exclusive and sophisticated aesthetics.
Powering the Longines Master Small Seconds watch is the "L 893.5" caliber, an automatic movement specially designed for Longines by ETA. This exceptional movement boasts a 72-hour power reserve. Notably, the caliber incorporates a silicon hairspring known for its resistance to magnetic fields and enhanced accuracy, highlighting Longines' commitment to delivering outstanding performance and value. Available for purchase at a price of EUR 2,600, equivalent to 10,722.40 AED
