Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu, Louis Erard’s Tribute to the Sector Dial

Louis Erard presents its latest release, the "Le Régulateur Gravure Bleu," a watch that, as the company describes, embodies the concept of the "Napkin Strategy." This well-known business term refers to a simple, concise idea, often improvised, symbolizing its ability to be quickly sketched on a napkin.

Louis Erard introduces Le Régulateur Gravé as a permanent addition to its Noirmont Métiers d'Art line, reinterpreting the sector dial with intricate traditional engraving. By presenting this non-limited model, Louis Erard further solidifies its distinct identity while making its rare design more accessible to a wider range of enthusiasts.

News For the Second Time This Year, Rolex is Raising the Prices of Its Watches

The Increase Only Affects Gold Watches, Driven by the Rise in Prices of the Precious Metal in Global Markets

We’re halfway through 2024, and Rolex is raising their prices again, despite having done so at the start of the year when they increased prices in the United Kingdom and USA.

Now, for the USA market only, it is likely this will affect the whole world. This latest round of price rises only affects a particular selection of Rolex models, specifically the golden references. So far, the prices of steel watches remain unchanged.

On average, precious metal Rolexes have seen a 4% price increase on top of the 4% increase in January, designed to cover the fact that gold itself has seen a 17% price increase since the start of the year.

Gold prices are expected to remain high throughout 2024, driven by ongoing economic uncertainties, strong central bank purchases, and sustained investor demand.

As we covered in Watches and Wonders 2024, Rolex introduced many new watches. Among them are some made of gold, such as the Deepsea in Yellow Gold for the first time and the Sky-Dweller, which now comes with a Jubilee Bracelet.
