First Look Breitling Showcases Its Latest Movement in the Top Time B31 Editions
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition with black mother-of-pearl dial and diamonds
Dior became one of the first fashion houses to embrace watchmaking in 1975. This commitment deepened in 2001 with the establishment of Les Ateliers Horlogers Dior SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of Swiss watchmaking. The Dior Grand Bal collection exemplifies this fusion of artistry and precision, inspired by Christian Dior’s love for opulent ball gowns. The latest creation, the Dior Grand Bal Broderie Florale, takes this vision further, showcasing a mesmerizing dial-side rotor that mimics the graceful movement of swirling fabric from party dresses.
The watch comes in a stainless steel case that measures 36 mm in diameter and features a bezel adorned with 71 round-cut diamonds surrounding a black mother-of-pearl ring. The polished crown is engraved with the iconic “CD” logo. On the reverse, a milky sapphire crystal caseback reveals an intricate silver and rose gold floral metallization, adding a touch of artistry.
The black mother-of-pearl dial serves as a beautiful backdrop for its floral embellishments. Set with round-cut diamonds, the dial is further enhanced by delicate flower appliqués with white gold-colored, faceted hour and minute hands.

The watch is powered by the Dior Inversé 11 1/2 caliber, an automatic movement known for placing its rotor on the front of the dial. The rotor is crafted from 18K white gold and platinum and is designed as a net, adorned with textured, lacquered flowers. It is set with 19 round-cut diamonds and 16 round-cut pink sapphires. The movement offers a 42-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).

The watch comes with a black satin strap, fastened with a stainless steel pin buckle. It is limited to 38 pieces and priced at USD 54,500, approximately equivalent to AED 200,000.
