The Horizontal Regulator Design Reinvented with New Elegance
Chronoswiss has established itself as a leading name in sports watches, particularly renowned for its regulator timepieces. Pioneering unique designs that reflect the vision of its late founder, Gerd Rüdiger Lange, the brand boldly pushed forward during a pivotal period in the watch industry's history. Today, the company continues its journey of development while steadfastly preserving its rich heritage.
Drawing inspiration from one of its iconic creations of the 1990s, the "Tora" watch, Chronoswiss introduces the "Strike Two" collection, poised to showcase a distinctive horizontal regulator design. Featuring two models, the "H2O" and "Golden Gear," this collection heralds a new era of innovation. These timepieces artfully marry the elegance and tradition of handcrafted guilloché with the brand's forward-thinking design ethos.
The two watches shares the same stainless steel case, made of 17 pieces, with a dimensions of 40 mm and a height of 12.7mm, meticulously ground and polished. It features a polished bezel adorned with a fluted decorative case band on the side and a domed, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The case back is both screwed and satin-finished, incorporating a sapphire crystal for added elegance. It is equipped with an onion crown and is water-resistant up to 30 m.
Both editions feature a Horizontal Regulator Dial, available in two color variations for the Bottom Level. The Golden Gear Edition showcases a dark grey hue with vertical satinage and golden accents, while the H2O Edition presents a Blue hue, Stamped, and CVD-Coated. The dial design includes a Decentralized hour display at 3 o'clock, featuring an open gear with two vertical bridges, a central minute hand, and a second hand at 9 o'clock within a hand-guilloché subdial. the Hands shape "Feuille"Super-LumiNova indexes ensure visibility in low-light conditions.
Powered by the new Chronoswiss C.6000 automatic caliber, this marks a significant leap forward in the brand's engineering prowess. Initially introduced in the Delphis line in 2023 (C.6004), this movement boasts distinctive features including ruthenium plating, a skeletonized tungsten rotor, and Côtes de Genève finishing emanating from the center. Developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, it operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 55 hours. This intricate movement is set to grace the next generation timepieces of Chronoswiss.
Features a black calfskin strap. Each edition is limited to an exclusive run of 100 pieces, both priced at 9,800 CFH, equivalent to 40,000 AED.
