Introducing Chronoswiss Lunches The ReSec Helium, Vertical Red, & Obsidian Manufacture

Chronoswiss stands as a beacon of innovation and craftsmanship in the realm of watchmaking. Renowned for its creative regulator timepieces, the brand has carved a niche for itself since its inception in 1983. The ReSec collection is considered one of the brand's most famous collections, admired by watch enthusiasts as it showcases motif dials, creative designs, provocative colors, and unique complications such as the retrograde second, as we saw in the Green Monster and Vertical blue Manufacture timepieces.

Now, the brand is releasing a new trio: the ReSec Helium Manufacture, ReSec Vertical Red Manufacture, and ReSec Obsidian Manufacture. This new set of timepieces showcases the brand's creativity and its ability to push the very limits of horological artistry. The trio shares a robust 17-piece, Titanium Grade 5 case, each with its own distinctive finishes, measuring 42 mm in diameter and standing at a height of 14.2 mm. Each timepiece features a double-coated anti-reflective sapphire crystal, an onion crown, a screw-down case back with satin finish and sapphire crystal.

The ReSec Helium Manufacture case features a matte gray finish, and it embodies the unstoppable force of the sun's energy. Drawing inspiration from the fiery fusion occurring at the sun's core, where hydrogen transitions into helium, this watch radiates with a vibrant orange Guilloche dial mirroring the dynamic solar flares. 

The ReSec Vertical Red Manufacture showcases a beautiful red Cote de Genève dial, symbolizing the bold and adventurous nature of its owner. The ReSec Obsidian Manufacture comes with a sleek CVD black case, complemented by an 18k gold bezel and case back, presenting a striking interplay of darkness and luxury. The dial features a beautiful galvanic black Guilloché finish. 

Each dial showcases the hour hand on a sub-dial positioned at 12 o’clock, a large minute hand at the center of the dial, a retrograde seconds hand at 6 o’clock, and ceramic indexes coated with super-luminova to enhance time reading in low-light conditions.

The watches are powered by the new Chronoswiss Manufacture Caliber C.6005, an automatic movement featuring a Balance Wheel made of Glucydur, a metal alloy with a low coefficient of thermal expansion, and a Balance spring crafted from Nivarox 1, an alloy that is quite resistant to magnetism. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz), this movement boasts a power reserve of 55 hours.

Each timepiece comes with a rubber strap matching the hues of its dial, and each is limited to just 100 pieces. The ReSec Helium Manufacture is priced at CHF 13,900, equivalent to AED 56,200, the ReSec Vertical Red Manufacture is available for CHF 13,400, equivalent to AED 54,200, while the ReSec Obsidian Manufacture carries a price tag of CHF 21,400, equivalent to AED 86,500.
