Limited editions pieces, drawing inspiration from the world of fashion
Breitling introduces a new line of timepieces co-designed with Victoria Beckham, the fashion designer and wife of the famous English football player David Beckham, a former player of Manchester United and Real Madrid. Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous clothing line in 2008.
Now, in her first collaboration with a watch brand, she has partnered with Breitling, lending her signature style to the Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham collection. Limited to just 1,500 pieces, this collaboration between the luxury watchmaker and the celebrated fashion house's creative director results in a unique and exclusive collection.
Co-designed by Victoria Beckham, the new limited-edition collection features six variants of the Chronomat Automatic in an elegant and slim 36mm case size, with a choice of cases in stainless steel or yellow gold – a material specially revived by Breitling for use in this line. In terms of aesthetics, the timepiece exudes sophistication with a touch of the unexpected, amalgamating both labels’ design codes. While both brands' names are engraved onto the case back, and the sapphire crystal covers the watch from the front.
The collection features both the Breitling logo on the dial and Victoria Beckham’s initials on the second hand. The dials also reference the limitation: “One of 400” for each of the stainless-steel pieces and “One of 100” for each of the gold variations. Look closely for the subtle VB logo and inscription on the bracelet. Coming in Midnight blue and peppermint as common cases, the third dial option comes in a gentle Sand hue to complement the warmth of its case material, and the dove gray with lab-grown diamond hour markers for stainless steel. Super-LumiNova® luminescent indexes and hands enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
Powered by the Breitling Caliber 10, the Chronomat Automatic 36 Victoria Beckham boasts a running time of approximately 42 hours off the wrist, thanks to the bidirectional rotor. Like all Breitling watches, each piece has achieved Contrôle officiel suisse des chronomètres (COSC) certification, a distinguished independent validation of its precision and performance.
The bracelet comes in gold or stainless steel and features the VB logo and inscription on it. The prices of the gold editions are $29,500 USD, equivalent to AED 108,000, while the stainless steel version is priced at $5,600 USD, equivalent to 20,600 AED.
