Although Carl Suchy & Söhne is renowned for its table clocks and sophisticated dress watches, it unveiled a new classic sports collection titled Belvedere during Time to Watches 2023 in Geneva. The collection presents a distinctive twist on the traditional date window, shifting its position on the dial daily as the month progresses. Now, the brand expands the Belvedere collection with two additional variants, the 'Belvedere Midnight' and 'Titan’, which will be presented at this year's Time to Watches fair from April 10th to 14th.
The Belvedere Midnight is housed in a 316L stainless steel black DLC case with a fluted bezel, while the Belvedere Titan features a titanium case with a smooth bezel. Both timepieces measure 40.8 mm in diameter and boast a lug-to-lug distance of 43.9 mm, with a height of 12.2 mm, imparting a sleek profile. Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring clarity and protection. Additionally, the open case back reveals a decorated gold-plated rotor.
The dials are either presented in a black or titanium hue and feature a distinctive moving date window. Its skeletonized Dauphine hands are rhodium plated and filled with SuperLumiNova, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The dial is adorned with a decorated lacquered surface and an integrated concave flange for added depth, with concave rhodium-plated indices, also filled with SuperLumiNova. The dial also features a golden second hand, adding a touch of elegance to the timepiece.
Both timepieces are powered by the CSS201 automatic movement, created by the renowned Swiss master watchmaker Marc Jenni especially for the Belvedere collection, which is based on the Dubois Depraz DB90010. The watch operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph, and offers 42 hours of power reserve.

Both watches come with a rubber strap that matches the colors of the case, with quick-release spring bars, and a stainless steel deployant clasp with a safety lock. The Belvedere Midnight is priced at EUR 7,900 which is equivalent to AED 32,000, while the Belvedere Titan is priced at EUR 9,900, equivalent to AED 40,000.
