Ceramic cases and carbon dials, the new models combine durability with bold design
Last year, Breitling introduced its newly redesigned Avenger Collection, inspired by military uniforms, available in three formats: a 44 mm chronograph, a 44 mm automatic GMT, and a 42 mm automatic. The colors of these watches were also drawn from military uniform palettes.
Now, a year after this redesign, the company has unveiled a brand-new edition featuring new materials and colors, once again taking inspiration from military aesthetics. This time, Breitling has opted for high-tech materials, using ceramic cases and carbon dials, whereas previous editions were crafted in stainless steel. The latest additions to the collection include four new models—three chronographs and one time-and-date-only version.
Breitling Super Avenger B01 Chronograph 46 Night Mission
First up is the Breitling Super Avenger B01 Chronograph 46 Night Mission, the largest in the new lineup. This bold timepiece features a 46 mm case crafted from scratch-resistant ceramic. The open caseback, crown, pushers, and buckle are made of solid titanium, offering the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. The case also ensures an impressive water resistance of 300 meters.
Moving to the dial, it is constructed from a carbon composite material with a unique random texture. The dial showcases a tri compax chronograph layout with a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. The large Arabic numeral hour markers are highly legible, enhanced by luminescence and the expansive size of the display, made possible by the sizable case.
Visible through the transparent caseback is the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer that offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
The watch is paired with a green military-style strap, enhancing its rugged, quasi-military aesthetic. It’s priced at USD 9,950, which is approximately AED 36,550.

The slightly smaller 42 mm case shares the same design and materials as the larger 46 mm edition. The Avenger Night Mission models are available with either a black carbon dial or a turquoise dial with black subdials. For a bolder aesthetic. The sand model creates a striking contrast with numerals in the same color as the dial.
Both the sand and turquoise Avenger models are powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B01, featuring an open caseback and offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
As for pricing, the turquoise model is priced at USD 9,550 (approximately AED 35,000), while the sand edition is priced at USD 9,750 (approximately AED 35,800).

Lastly, we have the Breitling Avenger Automatic 42 Night Mission, the only non-chronograph model in this new collection. It features a 42 mm case made from the same combination of ceramic and titanium but is thinner than the chronograph editions, with a height of 12.25 mm due to the different movement used.
The dial, once again, is made from carbon fiber. Interestingly, the Arabic numerals are coated in white lume, and without chronograph subdials, the white date window is positioned at 3 o'clock.
Powering this model is the Breitling Calibre 17, another COSC-certified movement, though it has a power reserve of only 38 hours.
This version is paired with an anthracite military leather strap and a titanium folding pin buckle. It is priced at USD 6,300, which is approximately AED 23,300.
