Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu, Louis Erard’s Tribute to the Sector Dial

Louis Erard presents its latest release, the "Le Régulateur Gravure Bleu," a watch that, as the company describes, embodies the concept of the "Napkin Strategy." This well-known business term refers to a simple, concise idea, often improvised, symbolizing its ability to be quickly sketched on a napkin.

Louis Erard introduces Le Régulateur Gravé as a permanent addition to its Noirmont Métiers d'Art line, reinterpreting the sector dial with intricate traditional engraving. By presenting this non-limited model, Louis Erard further solidifies its distinct identity while making its rare design more accessible to a wider range of enthusiasts.

Introducing Breitling Collaborates with Triumph Motorcycles, The Chronomat B01 42 Triumph

Two new releases inspired by the Triumph & Breitling Limited Edition motorcycle

Breitling is known for its modern chronographs and pioneering navigational tool watches since its founding in 1884 by Léon Breitling in Saint-Imier, Switzerland. The company is famed for its precision-made chronometers designed for aviators, exemplified by the Navitimer and the Avenger collections. In 1984, amidst the quartz crisis, the brand celebrated its centenary by relaunching the Chronomat watch, one of the brand's iconic releases that signified the return of the mechanical chronograph.

Following the relaunch of the Chronomat, Breitling expanded the collection with a variety of timepieces. This year, in their third collaboration, Breitling and British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles introduced two models: the Chronomat B01 42 Triumph and the limited edition Chronomat B01 42 Triumph SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR. Both feature a titanium case with 18K red gold accents.

This watch draws inspiration from the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR Breitling Limited Edition motorcycle, which is limited to 270 pieces. Each bike owner receives a special QR code on their limited-edition certificate, providing the option to purchase the Chronomat B01 Triumph Owners Exclusive from the website. The watch mirrors the motorcycle’s aesthetics with its carbon dial and brown alligator-leather strap. Additionally, a unique engraving on the caseback corresponds to the individual number inscribed on the top yoke of the bike.

The watch case measures 42mm in diameter and 15.10mm in thickness, and features a cambered sapphire crystal, glare proof on both sides, ensures clarity and durability. The caseback is also made of titanium, featuring a sapphire crystal window that provides a glimpse into the intricate workings of the movement within. Adding a touch of opulence, the crown is fashioned from 18 k red gold, matching the titanium and red gold unidirectional bezel.

The dial is available in two striking variations, a carbon dial with anthracite chronograph counters for the limited edition, and an anthracite dial with black chronograph counters for the standard version. Both options feature a tri-compax dial layout, Super-LumiNova on the indexes and hands, ensuring legibility even in low-light conditions, and the central seconds chronograph hand displays the Triumph logo.

At the heart of the watch beats Breitling’s Manufacture Caliber 01. This automatic chronograph movement features a column-wheel and vertical clutch mechanism, and is COSC-certified. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and promises a power reserve of 70 hours.

The Chronomat B01 42 Triumph variant joins the permanent collection and is priced at USD 10,900, equivalent to AED 40,100. The other variant is limited to 270 pieces, mirroring the exclusivity of the motorcycle, with the price available upon request.
