Bvlgari & MB&F Reimagine the Iconic Serpenti

Collaborations in watchmaking often bring together the creativity of a brand and its chosen partner, whether they be artists, athletes, or designers. However, it’s far rarer to see two well-known watchmaking powerhouses join forces. The partnership between Bvlgari and MB&F is a fascinating case, as both brands serve as creative forces in the industry with anything they put their hands on.

Their latest collaboration, the Bvlgari x MB&F Serpenti, follows their 2021 partnership, which resulted in the MB&F x Bvlgari LM FlyingT Allegra launched at Dubai Watch Week. This time, the two brands reinterpret Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti through the mechanical artistry of MB&F’s horological machines, merging biomorphic design with high-complication watchmaking in a way that only they can.

Introducing Breguet Unveils the New Classique Tourbillon 3358

Breguet Tourbillon, enhanced with the elegance of white gold and diamonds

Breguet unveils a new addition to its Classic collection, a mid-size watch made of white gold fully adorned with diamonds, showcasing Abraham-Louis Breguet's famous invention, the tourbillon, in a fancy way. The watch follows previous editions adorned with diamonds: the “Starlit Night” in white gold and the “Stunning Sight” in rose gold. Talking about the gem setting.

The Classic collection is not the only collection adorned with diamonds in Breguet. As we have seen before, the Marine collection gets more luxurious with gem-set chronograph and Lady Marine watches. Now, welcome to the new edition of the 3358 series.

It comes in a 35mm case with a thickness of 9.3mm, made of white gold. The case is characterized by the brand's signature fluted caseband. With an extra touch of brilliance, the bezel and lugs are set with 70 diamonds, while the crown is embellished with a rose-cut diamond. Both the front and case back of the watch are protected by sapphire crystals, with a water resistance of up to 30 meters.

The dial is adorned with 281 diamonds. The gems between 3 and 9 o'clock create elegant curves, while those within the chapter ring are set using the snow-setting technique. The chapter ring at 12 o'clock is made from natural white mother-of-pearl

The Arabic numerals are applied on the chapter ring, and Breguet's hands are blued. Positioned at the base of the dial, the tourbillon is integrated into a curved and polished oval-shaped opening and accentuated by a rounded gold bridge adorned with 14 diamonds.

The watch is equipped with the caliber 187D hand-wound movement, operating at 18,000 VPH (2.5 Hz), and offers a 50-hour power reserve. The caliber is equipped with a steel Breguet balance spring, with 168 components and 21 jewels. The sapphire case-back reveals a hammered base plate hand-engraved with Breguet’s name and the unique reference number of the movement.

The watch comes with a blue alligator leather strap and a triple-blade folding clasp with 42 diamonds. It is priced at CHF 159,700, which is equivalent to AED 662,000.
