Introducing Bell & Ross Introduces the BR-03 Skeleton Collection

After 20 years of crafting its iconic square watch, Bell & Ross elevates the design to a new level of sophistication with the launch of the BR 03 Skeleton, a trio of skeletonized timepieces available in Black Ceramic, Lum Ceramic, and Grey Steel. Each model houses a newly developed automatic movement, specifically designed by Bell & Ross, and showcases the French brand’s expertise in both skeletonization and luminescence.

These two signature elements, previously explored in models such as the limited-edition BR 03 Cyber Ceramic and the luminous BR-X5, are now reinterpreted in a sportier, more wearable package. The new BR 03 Skeleton collection retains the distinctive design codes of the BR 03 line while pushing the boundaries of technical and visual innovation.

While the case design of each BR 03 Skeleton model remains consistent, the materials and finishes vary, giving each version its own distinct character. Measuring 41 mm in diameter, the cases are crafted from materials that reflect the personality of each model: micro-blasted black ceramic for both the Black Ceramic and Lum Ceramic versions, and satin-finished stainless steel for the Grey Steel edition. 

A slight variation in case thickness results from the nature of each material, 10.60 mm for the Black Ceramic, 9.65 mm for the Grey Steel, and 11.25 mm for the Lum Ceramic. Sapphire crystal protects both the front and back of the case, ensuring durability and clarity, while water resistance is rated at 100 metres.

The dials of the BR 03 Skeleton models are where Bell & Ross showcases its creative flair. All three dials are openworked, revealing the intricate X-shaped bridge structure beneath. The Black Ceramic version features a transparent fumé dial with black ‘Baignoire-style’ applied indexes and matte black skeletonised hour and minute hands, both filled with green-emitting white Super-LumiNova. 

The Lum Ceramic edition takes luminescence to new heights, with Super-LumiNova C3 outlining the openworked dial, creating a mesmerising, radiant glow. Meanwhile, the Grey Steel model stands out with its openworked and faceted rhodium-plated dial and matching rhodium-plated hands, which catch the light with refined brilliance, enhanced by luminous details.

For the new BR 03 Skeleton collection, Bell & Ross introduces the automatic BR-CAL.328 calibre, a time-only movement without a date that beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 54-hour power reserve. The upper bridges form an X with their four double arms, each connecting to one of the four bezel screws.

All three models are delivered with a black rubber strap and an additional Velcro strap, paired with either a black PVD pin buckle or a polished steel buckle. 

The Skeleton Black Ceramic, part of the permanent collection, is priced at USD 5,990, which is approximately equivalent to AED 22,000. The Skeleton Grey Steel, a limited edition of 250 pieces, is priced at USD 5,600, or around AED 20,560. Meanwhile, the Skeleton Lum Ceramic, also limited to 250 pieces, retails for USD 6,600, which is approximately equivalent to AED 24,240.
