Louis Erard Collaborates with GoS on the Latest Edition of Le Régulateur

In December 2021, Louis Erard and GoS Watches were brought together by Manuel Emch, the visionary behind Louis Erard's strategic revival and creative transformation. He found a kindred spirit in Patrik Sjögren, watchmaker and founder of the Swedish atelier GoS, renowned for its mastery of Damascus steel.

Together, they envisioned a timepiece that would seamlessly blend the essence of both Maisons: the technical precision and aesthetic refinement of the Swiss Jura, married to the artistry of a Swedish forge, where Damascus steel is meticulously crafted into mesmerizing patterns through an almost alchemical process.

Introducing The New Gerald Charles Maestro 3.0 Chronograph Mini Tapisserie Clous de Paris

Two releases continue the Swiss brand’s 25th anniversary celebration

Gerald Charles continues to honor the visionary legacy of its founder, the legendary Gérald Charles Genta, aka the “Maestro.” Since its founding in 2000, and now under the stewardship of the italian Ziviani family, the Geneva-based brand remains dedicated to the art of high-end Swiss watchmaking. The iconic Maestro collection, named after its founder's nickname, draws inspiration from the intricate beauty of 17th-century Baroque architecture and has evolved over the years with new dials and the addition of an integrated bracelet. This year, the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary with the Maestro 2.0 Lapis Lazuli and now continues the celebration with the release of the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph Mini Tapisserie Clous de Paris.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic GC33 chronograph, displayed in the Gerald Charles Museum, the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph reinterprets a classic design with a contemporary edge. The watch is available in two distinct versions, both sharing case dimensions of 39mm by 41mm with a thickness of 11.5mm. One model features a Darkblast Grade 5 titanium case with an anthracite finish achieved through a unique sandblasting process. This technique enhances scratch resistance while offering a velvety texture. The second version boasts a polished stainless steel case.

The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal, and both versions feature a screw-down caseback made from the same material as the case, also fitted with a flat sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters, making the watches suitable for daily wear.

The Maestro 3.0 Chronograph offers a choice of grey or ice-blue dials, each adorned with a mini tapisserie Clous de Paris pattern combined with a sunburst finish. Baton-shaped hands filled with white Super-LumiNova provide optimal readability, emitting a green glow at night. The dial also features a black minute track and three subdials: a small seconds counter at 3 o'clock, a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock.

The watch is powered by the Swiss Manufacture 3.0 caliber, an automatic chronograph movement that operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 50 hours. The uni-directional rotor is decorated with the Gerald Charles "Honeycomb" design and the brand's 25th-anniversary logo.

The titanium model is paired with a white vulcanized rubber strap, while the stainless steel variant comes with an ice-blue strap. Both feature the Clous de Paris pattern on the top side and the Gerald Charles logo tapisserie on the rear. The straps are secured with a pin buckle made from matching case material, engraved with the GC logo. The watch is produced in limited quantities, and the price of the ice blue variant is CHF 24,900, approximately AED 104,000, while the gray variant is priced at CHF 26,100, approximately AED 109,000
