Subdial

It is a small dial located within the main dial of a watch that serves a specific function or displays additional information. It is typically used to indicate a variety of complications or additional features in a watch, such as chronograph (stopwatch) measurement, date, day of the week, moon phase, power reserve, or other specialized functions.

The subdial may feature a set of hands, markers, or specific scales to provide the desired information or perform specific timing functions. It adds functional and aesthetic value to the design of the watch.
